Training Programs

Training is one of the effective and tested tools for performance enhancement as well as upgradation of knowledge and skills of the personnel. Organizational motivation and morale, as reflected in the attitudes and administrative culture, are rendered through relevant and sharply focused effective training programmes. Officials of this Department have been nominated from time to time to attend training programmes under domestic & foreign funding schemes of Department of Personnel & Training conducted in various institutes/universities abroad.

The following officers of this Department attended the foreign training programme during the year 2017-18 and2018-19 (upto June, 2018).

Shri T.K. Manoj Kumar, Joint Secretary, Department of Food and Pubic Distribution - Short Term Training Programme in "Leading Successful Social Programme Using Evidence to Assess Effectiveness” at JFK School, Harvard University, USA from 30th April to 5th May, 2017.

Shri Prashant Trivedi, Joint Secretary, Department of Food and Pubic Distribution- Customized Training Programme in " Ethics & Governance” organized by University of California, Berkely (UCB), USA from 1-12th May, 2017

Smt. Simerjit Kaur, Director (FCI), Department of Food and Public Distribution- Short Term Training Programme on Certificate Programme in Public Administration” at Maxwell School, in Syracuse University, USA from mid August, 2017 to Mid December, 2017
